So I completed my last session of the 6 week Transformation programme yesterday and I feel amazing! So far I have lost 6 inches from my waist, 5 inches lost from my hips and lost 11lb In weight. I have also got back into my size 10 jeans and shorts. I was so nervous at first and always comparing myself to the others or thinking I couldn’t do it but the 9 others I was training with and the coaches have always kept me motivated and going. I have enjoyed every training session!!! Amazing what this 6 weeks has done for me! Couldn’t ask for a better group of people to train with and such genuinely nice people. Coach Ray Pharoah is an absolute legend, he has kicked our arses into shape with his training programmes and helped us every step of the way, I can’t thank him enough. I am so looking forward to the next 6 week programme and I get to do it all over again with the lovely people I trained with in the first programme! Also a massive thank you to Paul Kimber and Mathew Worrall who have helped us loads throughout the programme. So proud of myself and incredibly proud of the team I have trained alongside with.
Halfway update:
weight loss = 5lbs; inches lost = 4″ waist, 3″ hips
It’s halfway through and I certainly did not expect to feel this positive and be loving it this much at this point of the programme. In all honesty I thought it would be a bit of a chore working out 3 times a week and following a nutritional plan, but its not been like that at all. I’m actually enjoying every minute of it – so much so that I have signed up to the next Southern Legion programme!
my reason for joining the programme:
I’m a mum of 3 and I want to feel better about myself and have more energy in my daily life. I want to be a good example to my children and show them ‘mum can do this’, and that I have the determination to better myself. I would also love to show other mums like me, who have lost confidence in themselves, who have joined gyms and participated in fad diets that didn’t work, that they CAN do it with the right training. It doesn’t matter what level of fitness or weight they started at and they don’t need to feel intimidated by it all.
I also want to achieve a better and healthier lifestyle and gain the body shape I will be happy and more confident with. I want to change my mental attitude to weight loss and fitness so I don’t keep falling into the trap of quick, unsustainable fixes. I want to work hard, enjoy the training and make healthy lifestyle changes to achieve my goals.
